You should have been sure
Before you confessed declarations of love
Before you professed confessions of awe
Before you declared professions of affection

Flash Fiction |Love in Check| by Abdulhafeez T. Oyewole

I wanted to be sure I heard her correctly. She didn’t need it anymore because she is mature and can fend for herself without my help.

Poetry |When I Say I Love You| by Abdulhafeez T. Oyewole

When I say I love you, sweetheart,
You should know I really mean it,
I don't fake orgasm when I feel naught.

Poetry |With Him We Shall Stay Forever| by Grace Bokpe

How can he be compared to a sunflower,
When the sun is nowhere near his beauty?
His eyes are so pretty,
That sometimes I think he should take cover.

Poetry |Sweet Heart| by Stephen D. D. Samuel

Oh, Sweet heart!
Oh, Sweet heart!
Covered with streams of blood
-Thinking you have kicked the bucket-
Hoping I will say goodbye
But I never wish to say so
Trying to hear your last word
But all I can hear is the sound
Of wave from the near by sea

What shall I do?
Abandoned in the lonely house
Now I wish I have adorned your presence
Now I have apparent your reason
Of staying with me always
I was astonished when I heard that you're gone
Now I know why you sacrifice it all for me

Poetry |Our Unending Love| by AbdulHafeez T. Oyewole

Love, let our fleshy spirits
mingle with our inner feelings
to give birth to the unique oneness
we’ve so much long for.
